It is a scrap of cloth, a symbol that has a very subjective meaning to each of us. For me, there is no creator god under which it stands. There also is no liberty and justice for all, although that is a noble goal, which many of us strive towards. We ain't there yet.

I do stand respectfully, when others say the pledge.
