I've asked a couple of times on DU, what does a non-consumerist, sustainable economic system look like? I never get an answer, but it seems to me it would start with reining in our numbers. The pessimist in me thinks we're too late, though. I think in the next 15-25 years, humanity's going to be shocked at the disruption & upheaval climate change will cause. There's going to be migration like we've never seen before. All over the world. Walls won't stop it.
