I live in Annapolis (Arnold, a suburb of Annapolis), but I did not hear anything about this event was coming up, but I also did not hear a peep about it even after the fact from the news media. This must have been very quiet. I would imagine that Governor O'Malley would be helpful in gaining Trans Equality.
