my daughter was born with severe retardation from birth defects. No seizures. But we had a real problem with her self abuse. This is when kids hit themselves and knock their heads into walls etc. They can do it for hours on end, day after day. Being so severely retarded you cannot teach them not to do that. Also my daughter has pain from some of her birth defects and this hitting herself might be a cry for help with the pain. She has spent most of her life in pain. They gave her medicines for it, finally, but then she started with seizures. From the medicine? From getting older?? we don't know. You might think my daughter is young, she looks young, but is really close to middle-aged. MMJ has been a godsend, and I hope they don't screw it up with trying to regulate the recreational stuff.
