2. This was a good one, with one exception

He said that "since Watergate the parties have flipped and Democrats are the party of the elite and the GOP the party of the working man." That is incorrect. He's old enough and smart enough to know that's not actually true.
The GOP has successfully branded themselves as more the party of working class Americans, but their policies have never reflected it. Low wages, no unions, tax cuts for the rich, decreased services for Americans in need? Not working class friendly.
It's all marketing and advertising, their biggest props were religion and law and order. Now it's grievance, envy and prejudice. But it's not genuine interest in helping the working class, it's tactics to try to win elections.
