3. I had to skip around and did not watch from start to finish....

...but the one thing that stood out to me was how deeply misinformation has dug itself into the reasoning of the various rightwingers' thought processes, and how a few pieces of misinformation placed in the past, on any given topic, can affect the progression of thought from that point forward, forever skewing the ability to reason on any topic, of the person who believed that misinformation before.

Is that the basis of cognitive dissonance? That once someone has been pushed off the path of reality, they are now following a non-reality based direction and it is extremely difficult to pull them back on to it?
