4. My sons first pet was a chicken..

She'd come over to our feet and squat until we picked her up for petting. Lovely bird. I have to build a chicken house so we can have a few girls for fresh eggs...we've been collecting pallets for their lumber.

Chickens are wonderful, cheerful animals to have around.
