I have never had as much luck as you seem to with foundationless frames, my bees make much more a mess of them building cattywompass so I use plastic foundation. I'm a little worried with how far north you are that you are still starting nucs this late into August how are they going to get stores to survive? Just planning on feeding all winter? What method do you use? I am in Illinois and sometimes use sugar spread on the inner cover if the brood moves up into the top box as they normally do, but I start that in January, never went this close to fall with no honey in a hive.

Oh well I love your videos and maybe they've inspired me to take some honey off this week for my wife at the farmer's market I've been procrastinating due to heat!
