11. I went to a presentation by Pa. Dept of ag to dairy farmers.

The presentation was about how to consolidate insemination so as to have all the calves born in (I think it was January). That way, the farmer could have one or two months with an 18 hour day, instead of a 20 hour day.

That was around 20 years ago when the dairy farmers weren't losing as much money as they do now.

I think it was about 5 years ago that one of the largest dairy producers told Pa farmers that they would no longer buy their milk because of the decline in dairy consumption. The dairy could not sell the milk they were producing. Affected farmers had 60 days to find another buyer for their raw mild.

Of course they are selling to developers.
