OK I need some help with a song. [View all]

It was a closing song to a variety show in the 60's or 70's. I know the melody but can't put it down right now but can later if someone wants it. It was the closer and it had the cast standing on stage, the star I think, sang it and they all waved and yelled goodbye. I cannot remember all the words but enough I think for someone with a clearer mind to remember it.

"Now we come to the moment when we *something something* say good bye to our friends near and far, anywhere au revoir."

My original thought was Carol Burnett, the earlier shows when she sang her usual "I'm so glad we had this time together" followed by this short upbeat ditty but I cannot find it. I am usually a very good Internet searcher but not this time.

It is making me crazy so thanks for thinking about it.

I tried Red Skelton, Dinah Shore, Carol Burnett and I am fairly sure it was not someone along the lines of Dean Martin or Sammy Davis Jr. or even the Smothers Brothers. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
