Monday morning and the scammers are out in force [View all]

With an email:

You sent a payment of $265.05 USD to Tech America

It may take a few moments for this transaction to appear in your account.

This transation is set on auto debit for future payments from your Acc. -xxxx.

You may contact us at (973)536-2648 to dispute this transaction.

=====

No I did not. Have no idea who Tech America is And I have no "account."

I was almost curious to call that number again, to see, where it goes. I suppose they would ask for my credit card number to "confirm" that I did not send them money.

Just makes me mad that they target seniors who may not "remember" such automatic accounts.
