8. I fully sympathize with the 'digital coupons' gadgetry!

Like you, i had a helpful cashier who spent quite a bit of time trying to help me. I don't have the most up-to-date phone. After a while, a manager came up, I guess wanting to know what was taking the cashier so long to ring up one customer (surprisingly, there was no line of customers). He spent quite a bit of time trying to access the digital code on my phone, finally giving up and just giving me the discount with his 'over-ride' code.
The discount may as well have been only available upon 'completion of a hand-stand'!
