2. Bands are all about "chemistry"

I was in a local 4 piece rock/funk/blues band.in the 1990's. All male. We had a growing following and played mostly originals. Our bass player left for college so we had the lead singer's friend play bass. She was very attractive and would wear mini skirts on stage.

We went from 4 dudes jamming and making cool music to a "band with a hot bass player".
People had commented on our music skills but that all ended when she came aboard. All the comments were about her.

I didn't want that. The chemistry had changed dramatically. Sadly, I left the band.

I'm blaming no one. It is what it is.
