2. I'm gonna see it too. right now I'm reading among other books is Negroland.

Negroland is a biography of an upper middle class family during the fifties and sixties. It demonstrates the amazing resiliency and strength of blackness in the face of the oppressive whiteness narrative. just amazing. There's also a great deal of black history in it which should inspire people to read even more.
