The first space flight I remember was Challenger. Like you, we knew their names and would later learn more (as we got older) about how/who/why the tragedy happened. Like that mission, and all the others that came after, all the attention was on the astronauts then (and now).

In "Hidden Figures", it was fascinating to learn more about these ladies behind the scenes, and the workplace environment in the 1960s. They definitely are my heroines and glad that their stories getting mad props. to you.
