A $15/hour minimum wage is a worthy goal, but not of much value if you are pulled over for a broken tail light or whatever excuse and shot or incarcerated before you can even get to that job. As your linked article demonstrates, having wealth and a degree of fame is no protection when one's skin is black; poor black people don't even have a chance of being recognized before the situation escalates.
