1. Was in Tulsa schools 1946-1957. Nothing re 1921 Tulsa Race Riot. Colleagues in 90s thought blacks---

They thought blacks should shut up about it because---

* colleagues' families had nothing to do with it

* talk about it was just 'stirring people up' and 'making everyone angry'

* I heard whites deny that many blacks were killed

IMHO only reason there was any discussion about the Riot in Tulsa and OK and a failed OK legislative compensation attempt was that there were national articles about it coming from sources outside OK.
