but 65 years of living very close to this area and spending more hours every year than I can count there I feel pretty sure about this.

I have no problem admitting I am wrong but this time I do not think I am.

I agree it seems to have taken a long time and I don't know why. I do know they are not lacking in streets named after black leaders but I do not know enough to tell you how many or even who most of them are.

I hope you are wrong. I certainly will be more than willing to extend my apologies if I am wrong. After all, my knowledge about this is through my son and friends and other relatives who live there and that is only a teeny tiny fragment of the voting population there.

I don't even particularly like KC and I know they have problems like all cities but this one I just think was a major f-up by the city causing a whole lot of people to feel a large life change forced upon them. They fought back and I think they know that there will be a large tribute in a more appropriate place done in a more democratic way.

Apology will come directly to you after this is all shaken out.
