Even though the impact that China has had on Tibet is tragic, its threat to the teachings has been a catalyst for spreading Buddhadharma, (as opposed to merely using Buddhism as a label for the phenomena) far and wide. This may be very useful for the West in its present, decaying condition and with its disrespect for the planet and its people as a whole.

The Ati-yoga teachings remained obscure and were far more esoteric since their inception. However, the time has come and the West is ready for this sink or swim approach to our own true nature and insight into reality, as it is, itself.
