I tend to consider how the font works with an image, with no image to consider, it's tough.
No mention of colors either.

Bear in mind you CAN mix & match as well as adjusting any aspect of the font you wish.
Looks uneven? straighten it out. Too thick? Make it thinner. Missing a part? Create what you want to see.
You can even output a font in 3d-effect lettering which opens up all manner of possibilities for adding highlights, shade or color.
Maybe hire an illustrator to create the font as stained glass.

Be sure to view it from a good distance too to judge the legibility. Should look good at postage stamp size.
