... of making the X-Men comics were my favorite as a teenager.

When that team ended, my interest in comic books ended as well. (I was also older, so my interest was surely waning anyway.)

I had every issue of The Uncanny X-Men, from #94 on up. (I'd acquired #94 and other early issues by trading and other means, since those were published before my interest in the stories.)

I later sold all of them to a comic book store, long ago.

Just checked the prices on #94... about $70,000 for near-mint condition.
