Progress on my first book - had a great two day visit from my editor! [View all]

My editor from Storey just spent two full days visiting us here, joined by my photographer, for two working days...the book text is nearing completion (got 70K words done, 90K target, due May 31)....about 30% of the photography is done. I was pretty nervous - this is my first book - hell, I am a chemist making a transition to garden writer - but she thought my writing was just fine (relief...huge relief!).

publication date will be December 2014 (my, it takes a long time)....but it is really going to happen! I am exhausted, relieved, and elated! Just wanted to share the news with my DU friends....
