U.S. shot putter Ryan Crouser set an Olympic record Thursday morning in Tokyo to win his second consecutive gold medal in the event. Crouser, a 28-year-old from Oregon, defended the Olympic title he won at the Rio de Janeiro Games in 2016, following up on his world record performance at the U.S. Olympic trials in June.
