2. Oh man, what a sad story.

First I have heard about this, thanks for posting. I think this was his 3rd or 4th cycle with dealing with his cancer issues. He's had a tough few years with that and his son's incarceration for murder. He was my age and I recall well the time when he came home to play for the Red Sox in the late 70's. Godspeed Jerry. One of the best at providing game color....
