Although, traveling to Chicago by train is comparable to playing on the opposite coast & getting there by chartered jet. Maybe worse. In the 1920s, it would take nearly 18 hours to get to Chicago from New York. It only takes 13 hours to fly from Chicago to Tokyo.
But, the mix of day & night games has to be a factor.
