As a WSU alum and former employee of the WSU Athletic Dept., as well as having lived in Corvallis for 3 years when my father taught at Oregon State, I hope that these schools get justice and can keep most of the assets to continue as the PAC-2 while they explore what will be best for them as they move forward. I have felt like I have been in mourning ever since the breakup this summer, as I know how hard WSU worked/works to to be successful while working with less funds than so many of the other schools in the conference. To break up a conference that had such history breaks my heart. I am so thankful that I got to cheer on the Cougars in the Rose Bowl. I have many friends and family who attended Oregon and Washington who are very saddened by this. Some don't plan to attend any more games at those schools. Money/greed has really hurt college athletics.
