1. It's best for the Warriors to move on

They've been deteriorating a little more every year by sticking with their aging stars. It was more than obvious last year that their aging players can't keep up with the younger teams in the fourth quarter, and they're paying their aging stars so much that they can't afford to keep promising new players on the roster.

Thompson didn't score one point in their playoff loss to the Kings, so it's best for them to part ways to create cap room for the Warriors to rebuild their team.
