2. Just another chapter in the Takata airbag fiasco.

And I thought that was over and done with . . . guess not.

What may be hidden information, is that the 'do not drive' period for owners of the 20 year old cars may be quite long before their airbag(s) is/are replaced.

It's not like a warehouse full of trustworthy air bags actually exists.

Went through the process with a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer, passenger side only. Replaced twice.
That was years ago.
