1. Who determines how many is too many? So those teams basically get a time out?

They don’t (won’t) compete because they can’t win. How long does that last? Who compensates the clubs for the lost revenue?

Who says they “bought” the championships? Did they buy them in 1923? 1937? 1956? 1961? 1977? Why didn’t they win in 1921? 1942? 1957? 1963? 1981? Why didn’t they win the pennant in 1924? 1934? 1946? 1954? Why didn’t they win between 1965 and 1972 when CBS owned the team? Certainly, CBS had more money than the other owners. For that matter, why haven’t they won every World Series since free agency began in 1976?
