As he well knows, it wasn’t possible without a strong coaching staff throughout the organization (including minor leagues), medical staff and trainers, etc, as well as players performing well when given the right opportunities. So it’s really an organizational staff award… and Murph just happens to be at the top this year.
Both the Brewers and Guardians have excellent organizational staffs, and they deserve the awards.
