The Mets didn't seem to show much interest in re-signing Pete Alonso. They went out and got Bichette and are converting him to 3B. And they also acquired SS Jorge Polanco, who they are converting to 1B out of necessity.

I think Alonso is going to have a strong season in Baltimore. He cranked his first homer of spring training yesterday.
