on edit: the information I got from the MLB app was incomplete....turns out he went Free Agent 12/2/20 from the Cubs, then to Washington till July of 2021, then traded to Boston, then went Free Agent again Nov of 2021, then Philly picked him up from Free Agency. My mistake. Hard to keep up with all of them.

July 29, 2021
Washington Nationals traded LF Kyle Schwarber to Boston Red Sox for RHP Aldo Ramirez.

November 4, 2021
LF Kyle Schwarber elected free agency.

March 20, 2022
Philadelphia Phillies signed free agent LF Kyle Schwarber.

So the Cubs got nothing.
