then it seemed several of those Osprey were just passing through and disappeared. The subscribers on the Chesapeake Conservancy cam mentioned the various sightings near your vicinity. The Kent Island female just arrived, but the male is missing (even though more than one Osprey was sighted near that nest)

Who knows where all the missing Osprey are traveling from? The early ones that arrived in New York and Cape Cod with the herring migration probably wintered in the southern states.
