8. My pals arrived yesterday

about a week later than usual. The battles begin soon. The Lewis woodpeckers and northern flickers are healthy and stable.

But….the mockingbirds, evening grosbeaks, and kingbirds are disappearing.

This year the female hummer came first. The male came almost exactly the same day as last year April 29 Walleye May 2024 #11
