... the Central American turkey exhibits much more flamboyant plumage than his North American cousin. He also lacks the snood and caruncles of our local birds here in Vermont.
When the snow gets deep, flocks frequently visit our bird feeders, and leave sizable poopsicles in appreciation of the bounty we provide. Hens and poults come first, followed by toms and jakes. Such crowds make for a lot of poopsicles to shovel up so the dogs don't snack on 'em. Eccchh!
