1. We have started getting gulls in middle Tennessee (northern part) in the last couple of weeks.

Im guessing that they migrate down from the Great Lakes region during winter. They raid the creeks for minnows, and hang around Wal-Mart parking lots, cleaning up the fast food that gets thrown out of people's cars. By spring, they head back to wherever (?).
