27. According to the NCAA, he did lie and it is a Level 1 violation

Which is considered serious.

Michigan even gave him a self imposed 3 game suspension. This was after they proposed to the NCAA that they would give him 4 games off in an attempt to avoid any further penalties. The NCAA said it wasn't sufficient.

What did Michigan do after being told 4 games weren't enough? They gave him 3. lol Might as well have poked the NCAA in the eye with a stick.
