...before Gronk was even in the league. He won 2 of them while Gronkowski was in HS.
I'm not a Brady defender (except in "deflategate", where the accusers don't know the first thing about Boyle's law) but 3 of 7 without that tight end kind of refutes your argument.
BTW: in those 3 wins before Gronk, he had receivers who had ZERO all-pro nominations, combined.
