Myles Garrett calls out Browns fans for cheering Deshaun Watson's Achilles injury [View all]

Deshaun Watson is likely done for the season after suffering a right Achilles tendon injury in the second quarter Oct. 20 in the Browns’ game with the Cincinnati Bengals at Huntington Bank Field. And that’s the worst of it, as far as Myles Garrett is concerned.

Garrett was the last player to pat Watson on the back before the cart left the field. Naturally, he said it was difficult seeing a player injured.

“It was harder to see the reaction the fans gave,” Garrett said. “Whether an opponent goes down or one of our own, we don’t boo guys being hurt, especially when the cart comes out. We should be ashamed of ourselves as Browns and fans to boo anyone and their downfall — a season-altering, career-altering injury.

“The man’s not perfect. He doesn’t need to be. None if us are. You can’t judge him for what he does off the field or on the field. I can’t throw stones at my glass house.”

Yeah. Don't cheer a sports injury.
