I'd like to get something to experiment with for development, but can't really afford to make the necessary upgrades to my PC yet.

I will be getting a Gear VR that comes with my phone, so I'll be giving that a whirl eventually. The best buy demo unit was in pretty bad shape by the time I finally got to try it out, lol.
