It is based on the the comments made by somebody in and about the gaming industry and the working conditions therein. But I'm pretty sure it is applicable to the IT sector as a whole, and I would expect this to be the direction that working conditions in general are going in. And also the attitudes that higher ups have towards worker complaints.
