Riding/testing/demoing bikes in Central Florida this weekend.. [View all]

So I went to Biketoberfest on Friday to see about doing test rides of motorcycles. I've done it in the past and it's great fun.. It's outside with tons of space so it's reasonably safe for this triple vaccine guy.
Well Daytona beach was a bust. Only BMW demoing bikes and I don't have that kind of money... Bring Money and Wallet.
The IMS motorcycle show in Lakeland Fla was WAY better. Nothing like the insanity of STurgis or Bikeweek. If you're into them Harley was doing demos on all their bikes. Triumph/Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha and Royal Enfield were all there. I was in Demo heaven.. Again all outdoors. Beautiful country to ride in, way better than the busy streets of Daytona Beach. I rode a new model Triumph 660cc Tiger triple. What a nice bike. Quick and comfortable. I also rode a Royal Enfield 650 interceptor that's made in India. A retro style like Triumph and BSA of old. Very nice bike but I had trouble reading the gagues with these poor old eyes.
All in all it was a good weekend...
