I tell people to go there. Caravaggio painted his last painting in Siricusa which I never got to see, unfortunately. On one trip the painting was in Florence being restored and on the second trip there was a fight between two churches that both claimed the painting and I don't understand why but it was not on display. So I struck out twice...
