...along with the plastic-wrapping thing you see at a lot of non-US airports.

Get luggage with a good closure.

I travel a buttload. With a decent sized suitcase, and enough temperance to avoid overpacking (which takes a long time to really appreciate what is "overpacking&quot , what is it that is making your suitcase come open?
