All-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good. It can't be all three, you have to give up one or more. If it were, it could come up with a plan that accomplished the same purpose, but didn't involve suffering. If it isn't all-powerful, then maybe it did not have the power to prevent tragedy. If not all-knowing, then maybe it didn't know how to prevent tragedy. And if not all-good then it chose not to intervene and allow suffering, which is evil.
