Participating in religious discussion without going any deeper than the surface [View all]

is much like not visiting the WWI soldiers' memorial because it is raining.

Getting soaking wet is evidence of commitment. Avoidance of immersing oneself in a discussion is evidence of nothing much at all. Dropping sarcastic comments into a discussion is much like ruining a punch bowl with fecal matter.

Bottom line: One-line sarcastic quips do not an argument make. They are only excuses for non-participation in the discussion, and are best ignored completely.

Thus endeth my non-specific commentary on the matter.
