two completey mutually exclusive concepts. Progressives make decisions based on science and data which is complete opposite of any religion. We are a secular nation of secular laws, no religion should even be discussed by any government officials, let alone using it as a guidance for decision making. The freedom of religion is severly limited by secular laws in the US. But we do have freedom from religion which is key to any progress. The future of human development has no place for religion.
