What we frequently see is allegations (almost always by religionists) that such Christians aren't "true Christians" because they don't embrace the biblical principle of "love thy neighbor". After all, that was Jesus' "Great Commandment". The problem is there's a very convenient out of those who want to justify their hate. What Jesus was really talking about was Mosaic law, which you can find in Leviticus 19:17-18:

17 “‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt.

18 “‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

In other words, "love thy neighbor" doesn't apply to those who don't embrace Judo-Christian beliefs.
