Although we never prayed in front of lit candles, this brings back very happy memories of my mom and dad saying prayers with me and my brother and sister before bedtime. All of us would gather in the bedroom I shared with my brother, and (if my memory is correct) we would all say a decade of the rosary.
Very happy memories in deed
