group activisim like protesting and/or persuasion of others to take a different direction than one that may lead to "needless suffering"? Does it mean one is indifferent to what issues are debated by large groups about what would lead to "needless" suffering. Is suffering ever justifiable or just a consequence of what is eventually done? I'm remembering a lecture and discussion of the nature of what is "good" in a Humanities class, hence my questions about how one comes to a judgment about morality and ethical behavior.
